Principal and Duties
- Assemble and weld parts for manufacturing and construction projects
- Must be knowledgeable of weld shrinkage factors and various welding techniques
- Must be able to set up and run welding machines
- Must be able to use various hand tools including saws, shears, drills, and grinders
- Maintain safe and orderly work environment
Requirements
- Previous welding experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Ability to follow all safety procedures
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, and bend at waist
