Principal and Duties

Assemble and weld parts for manufacturing and construction projects
Must be knowledgeable of weld shrinkage factors and various welding techniques
Must be able to set up and run welding machines
Must be able to use various hand tools including saws, shears, drills, and grinders
Maintain safe and orderly work environment

Requirements

Previous welding experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blue prints
Ability to follow all safety procedures
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, and bend at waist
