Metro Steel is seeking to hire experienced fitters / welders / fabricators.

Tier Pay Levels:

T1 welders - $23.50

T2 welders - $25.75

T3 welders - $28.00

We are looking for Fabricators, who are qualified to read blueprints and shop drawings.

All applicants will be required to take a welding test. Bring your own hoods, sleeves and gloves if you have them.

- Must be able read blueprints and a basic knowledge of weld symbols

- GMAW, FCAW a must!

- Carbon steel, Structural steel

- Ability to weld vertical, flat welds in accordance to AWS D1.1

- Ability to read tape measures and angle finders

- Ability to lift 50 pounds

- Ability to operate various shop tools

- Trained in forklift and overhead crane operation

- Must maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area
