We are seeking an experienced (1+ years) Metal Fabricator / Welder for our Jaffrey NH operation. Responsible for working on custom design, preparation, fabrication and welding of various metal constructions, components and structures working from patterns and blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts or assemble components, overseeing projects from inception through completion. Hourly Rate $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience.

Position Requirements:

1. The Metal Fabricator must read and understand engineering blueprints and plans to know exactly what is required of any project.

2. Must follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures in all the work they do.

3. Cut and Fabricate Metal Objects.

4. Use a variety of tools to work with metal. Operate cutting saws to cut various metals, and weld (MIG and TIG) and grind fabricated structures to meet structural requirements.

5. Perform detailed quality checks to ensure that it meets all standards and requirements.

6. Document work and results and keep records of labor and materials used.

7. Detail-oriented and focused, capable of following complex instructions.

8. Work well both independently and as part of a team.

In addition to these general skills and personality traits, we are seeking Metal Fabricator candidate with the following skills.

1. Self-Starter.

2. Previous experience in handrail fabrication.

3. Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.

4. Effective English reading and writing communication skills.

5. Ability to operate different tools, and to troubleshoot equipment problems.

6. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

7. Ability to lift more than fifty pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
