Location: Crawfordsville, IN
Pay Rate: Up to $34/ Hour + $115 Per Diem
Hours: 60 Hours; Approximately 6-10 Months
The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next rigging teammate. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Rigger Job Responsibilities:
- Estimating the size and weight of objects to be moved and deciding on the appropriate equipment to be used.
- Erecting cranes, and mobile crane booms, and adjusting the height of tower cranes.
- Lifting, positioning, and bolting components to build up the scaffolding.
- Attaching sling equipment to load to be lifted.
- Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures.
- Installing and operating cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, and other lifting tackle.
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment.
- Lifting and erecting prefabricated panels made of steel, glass, or concrete.

Rigger Qualifications / Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
- Excellent hearing and vision.
- Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments.
- High-level mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Reach for, manipulate, and feel objects
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
Experience and Requirements:
- NCCER or equivalent rigger certification required
- Must have Intermediate or Advanced Cert
- OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
