Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs wiring systems, equipment, and fixtures such as switches, outlets, light fixtures, and motor controls. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines from the National Electrical Code to perform the functions of the job. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order. Installs and bends EMT conduit efficiently. Installs and bends Rigid metal conduit (project specific). Operates Greenlee electric benders. Pulls power and control wiring for motor control systems. Installs various control devices (photo eyes, limit switches, control stations, etc.). Installs panel boards, Motor Control Centers, and other distribution equipment. Terminates multiple control wiring.
Experience with both AC and DC circuits, GRC and EMT conduit, and terminations. Must have at least two years experience running rigid conduit systems. Must have complete set of standard electrician hand tools, safety boots, safety glasses, and hard hat. Must have working knowledge of the National Electrical Code requirements for electrical installations.
Full-time traveling position.
