Hope Power & Industrial Inc. is a specialty manpower resource provider to contractors, industrial facilities and power generation plants: Hope Power & Industrial is seeking to fill positions for structural and pipe welders and millwrights. These positions are on project in Knoxville, TN area. (Available Per Diem - for Qual;ified Candidates)
Structural Welders
MIG Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions using proficient welding techniques to ASTM - AWS.
- MIG welding stainless steel flux cored
- Must have proff of current 3G & 6G weld test certifications.
* Must have 5 years experience in stainless steel MIG wire - FACW - G.(Flux Core Arc Welding GAs) Gas shielded or double shielded.
- Read, interpret and fit to dimensions on detailed structural and pipe drawings
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools as required
- Use of fitting tools, including, but not limited to tape measure, square & angles, protractor degrees
- Complete and understand all necessary weld/machine setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
- Use safe work habits and adhere to all safety regulations and requirements
- Maintain clean, organized safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards
- Adhere to all Quality Standards as responsible for quality of own work
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Pipe Welders (Small and Large Stainless Steel 4” to 12weld pipe)
- Pipe Welders need weld certs for both carbon (stick) and stainless (TIG)
- Must have minimum 5 years pipe welding experience
- Must have all required welding gear
All candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have basic hand tools expected for trade
- Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel
- Must be dependable and good safety record
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
