Job Description:
As a Certified Welder at Fritz Staffing Group, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on carbon steel pipe and structural components. You must possess a 6G welding certification and be comfortable working in man lifts at various heights to meet project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding on carbon steel pipe and structural components using various welding techniques.
- Ensure welds meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.
- Work with 6G welds, demonstrating proficiency and expertise in complex positions.
- Operate safely in man lifts and other elevated platforms while welding.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure structural integrity and quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures on job sites.
Requirements:
- Valid 6G welding certification (required).
- Valid D11FCAW Certification (required).
- Extensive experience welding carbon steel pipe and structural components.
- Comfort and experience working in man lifts or elevated positions.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality welds.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and welding procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in other welding techniques or materials (TIG, MIG, etc.).
- Experience with large-scale industrial projects or construction sites.
- Familiarity with different types of welding equipment and tools.
