**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Tig Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in welding techniques, including Tig welding, and possess the ability to read blueprints and schematics to accurately complete tasks. The successful applicant will be responsible for building and fabricating metal components using a variety of power tools, including band saw and tube cutting machines.
**Responsibilities**
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts using Tig welding techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks
- Operate and maintain power tools, including band saw and tube cutting machines
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet project deadlines
- Perform quality control checks on welds to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other fabrication team members to ensure timely completion of projects
**Skills**
- Proficiency in Tig welding and other welding techniques.
- Experience working with tube and the ability to fabricate complex shapes
- Strong knowledge of power tools, including band saw and tube cutting machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with rigging and the ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
