S&R Enterprises is a nationwide and Caribbean steel erector with over 300 employees. We’re growing fast and we need your help in the Phoenix area.
For experienced/certified ironworkers with a welding certification, we’re paying $28 to $32 per hour with the average ironworker in Phoenix getting about 20 hours of overtime per week.
- Must be an US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen.
- Follow company and job site safety guidelines, procedures, and policies
- Welding, torch cutting, arc gouging, grinding
- Must be certified or able to pass a 3G and 4G weld test (Innershield FCAW)
- Operate equipment (scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.)
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
- Familiar welding with Inner-Shield FCAW processes
- Calibrate welding tools and equipment according to the parameters listed in the welding procedure specification (WPS)
- Carry out post-welding treatment of structures by cleaning, buffing, and polishing finished workpieces
- Inspect and evaluate welds to ensure they are free of defects and conform to set specifications
- Employ appropriate welding methods in completing structural fabrications
- Able to read and understand weld symbols
- Must be comfortable with heights
- Knowledge of commercial construction.
- Fall protection and safety equipment knowledge
- Operate aerial working platforms as well as work from the erected structural steel.
$28 to $32 per hour PLUS OT and per diem
