Title: Pipe Welder

Job Overview: The Pipe Welder will be responsible for welding pipe components and systems within a construction company in the oil and gas industry. This role requires a positive attitude, initiative, and integrity. The welder will ensure all welds pass appropriate non-destructive testing requirements and maintain all required certifications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure all welds pass appropriate non-destructive testing requirements.
- Maintain all required certifications without any expirations.
- Always surpass all required company weld productivity rates.
- Complete 100% of all work ahead of schedule.
- Arrive to jobsite on-time as expected and/or directed.
- Utilize company provided PPE all of the time.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Determine the required tools, materials, and welding methods.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipe components and systems according to specifications and directions from project foreman, superintendents, and managers.
- Inspect materials, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Prepare working materials by clamping, cutting or applying chemical solutions to piping.
- Examine completed welds to ensure they are free of defects, smooth, and functional.
- Observe and follow safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified in pipe welding.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pipe welding role within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of successful welding projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.

Pay: $26.03 - $34.00 per hour
