Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate welding equipment and tools such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding codes
- Use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accurate dimensions
- Assemble fabricated parts using various techniques and tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fabricator/welder
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with fabricating ductwork is a plus
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
