Kinkaid Stone is seeking an EXPERIENCED Welder/Fabricator.
This position is responsible for welding and fabrication activities in a quarry and/or mine environment. This includes, but is not limited to: heavy equipment, plant equipment, and general quarry components. Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirement
- Must have Blueprint and fabrication experience
- Must have ARC and MIG welding experience
- Must be safety conscious
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to comfortably work at heights up to 60 feet
- Welding Certifications a plus
- There will be a weld test at the time of interview

Dental Insurance Coverage is provided for an employee and his/her family. Currently, The Simonds Group Health Coverage plan 100% coverage for preventative services ($50 deductible for other) with a $2000 annual claim limit, is through Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Vision Insurance Coverage is provided for an employee and his/her family. Currently, The Simonds Group Health Coverage is through EyeMed. Coverage becomes effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.
A Pension Plan is provided through the International Operating Engineers Pension Fund. Each individual company contributes to an employee’s pension on a per hour basis. Salaried employees are paid based on a 40-hour week. Contributions start after one year of service.
Vacation a regular full-time employee will earn an annual paid vacation.
Holiday Pay New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
Tools and PPE are provided.
