Welders are responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing stainless steel and/or aluminum metal structures and equipment. Welders should be able to read blueprints and schematics in addition to being able to set up parts of the welding process including grinding, welding, and drilling.
- Be 1F, 1G, 2F, 3G, and 4G short circuit GMAW carbon steel and stainless steel qualified
- Be qualified to weld according to Seagrave qualifications (2G spray transfer, 2G and 3G short circuit GMAW carbon and stainless steel)
- Fit parts as required for welding structural components and assemblies
- Weld and finish structural, new, and refurbished parts (such as trailers, torque boxes, complete frames including their parts, super structure, turn tables, jacks, outriggers, and others as required)
- Work with parts and subassemblies with/without fixtures
- Be qualified to weld according to Seagrave qualifications (2G,3G,4G GTAW, Aluminum and 2G,3G,4G, GMAW Pulse spray Aluminum )
- Fit and weld to prints/drawings
- Meet customer required compliances
- 1G spray transfer GMAW on ½” aluminum plate o 2F 5” schedule 120 aluminum pipe to ½” aluminum plate GTAW
- 6G 3” schedule 40 aluminum pipe GTAW
- 6G 8” schedule 80 aluminum pipe GTAW
- If qualified: Weld 2F 5” schedule 120 aluminum pipe to ½” aluminum plate spray transfer GMAW

Pay: $22.61 - $26.40 per hour
