RWTC Steel, Inc. (a division of Right Way Traffic Control, Inc.), is a rapidly growing construction company specializing in traffic control, signing, striping, guardrail, fence and miscellaneous steel erection is looking to add a qualified individual to work in our shop welding and fitting steel. The company has been growing every year and we are looking for another individual to help us continue this growth.

Qualifications

On time with good attendance
Practice safe work ethics
Weld bead must be of high quality: uniform waves, width and height
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Reliable transportation
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Welding: 1-5 years (Preferred)
Willing to train the right person

Responsibilities

TIG Welding
MIG welding
Griding
Light assembly
Follow established standard operating procedures for fabricating
Follow proper procedures for set up and maintenance of machines in the shop
Follow proper procedures for measuring and cutting with a band saw/torch
Assemble orders and maintain work supplies in an organized manner
Observe necessary safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping for storage and transportation
Work closely with supervisor to resolve any task concerns that arise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
