PDQ Staffing are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weld able materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.

Need expedites Flux-Core, MIG and Cutting Torch

Payrate : $18 - $20 an hour

Shift : 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday (overtime included if needed)

Duties:

· Welder Job Duties Joins, designs, fabricates, and repairs equipment, structures, and various types of metal objects

· Using an array of welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding, electric arc, and oxygen-acetylene.

· Analyzes blueprints, plans, and drawings to determine measurements, plan layout, and sequence of welding assignments.

· Works in conjunction with other crews and lead persons.

· Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.

· Must be willing to work an environment that can be hot/cold, dirty and dusty.

Requirements:

- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, Flux - Core and stick welding
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Ability to fabricate metal components accurately
