Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions is seeking a qualified Belt Welder to join our team! We are a successful, growing manufacturing company founded in 1950. An industry leader producing custom, high quality conveyors and filtration equipment for the machine tool and metal working industries, as well as other material handling solutions for our many customers. We have a 100,000 square ft. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Mequon, WI.

Your Contribution to the Team includes:

Using wire feed welder to weld cleats and apron plates together according to bill of materials
Accurately measure and lay out holes and locations for welded components
Adjust welder as needed to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel
Operate grinder, drill, band saw and crane as assigned
Maintain a safe and well-organized work environment
Ensure work is completed in a timely manner and on schedule

What you’ll need to be successful:

High School Diploma or GED
3-6 months of training or related experience
Basic math & reading aptitude and able to pass a math test
Ability to pass a basic weld test for technique and quality
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to work required hours and overtime as needed
Proven reliability - attendance and punctuality!
